As Cocoon’s main restaurant, Octopus offers buffet meals that include a selection of freshly cooked Asian, Italian and grilled food and features a special Chinese corner. For those seeking a romantic adult al fresco dinner by candlelight, the Manta Restaurant offers a la carte seated over the water of the lagoon while babysitters take care of little ones. Beachside restaurant The Palm Square is casually styled in Arabic décor with pillowed floor seating and lanterns, specialising in grilled seafood and beef. Kurum Beach Bar is close to the children’s play area with hammocks and lounge areas to relax, offering fresh juices and snacks. LOABI LOABI is Cocoon’s poolside bar and a great place to hang out throughout the day, with a selection of refreshing beverages and special Maldivian cocktails.
Cocoon has 150 rustic yet contemporary villas with the perfect formula of infinite turquoise blue ocean and tropical tranquillity blended with luxurious modern comforts. Each room at the resort is air conditioned and features WIFI, a flat-screen TV with kids’ satellite channels, and for your comfort, you will find bath robes, slippers and free toiletries. There are 10 spacious family beach villas of 100m2 sleeping up to 6 people with living area, balcony, patio and soundproofing. Four indulgent beach suites with private plunge pool sleep 3 people and offer 70m2 including a dining area and sofa as well as a balcony overlooking the beach. Ultimate comfort for large families up to six can be found in the 300m2 two-bedroom Cocoon beach suite with private pool. As the largest guest suite on the island, it offers a balcony, huge living room, two beautifully decorated bedrooms and outdoor dining area with private plunge pool in a stunning beachfront setting.
A huge variety of activities are on offer for kids and parents. Our PADI dive school will show divers of all levels from novice to the hammerhead hunting expert the colourful undersea fauna as well as turtles, manta rays, dolphin and grey sharks. There’s snorkelling equipment, kayaks, jet skis and windsurfers as well as big game fishing tours and discovery trips to nearby islands. If looking to be pampered, Cocoon’s experienced spa therapists offer a wide range of therapeutic treatments from various corners of the world to ensure a sublime spa experience, designed to heal the mind, body and spirit.
